Oh, where to even start? I read this and flooded my flooring with tears. No lie. I've never seen such sadness in a dog's eyes in my life. This girl is going to be saved, but omg. Tomorrow we will try to save this dog from the hell she is living. You can see the pain in her eyes, she is starved, beaten and feeling down.
We recently picked up 2 small dogs from a property where the dogs are treated like punching bags and disposed of like trash. Well… from this same property is this precious little girl who needs a way out.
WE ARE COMING FOR YOU!!!
Here is her story… she became pregnant to the uneducated culture of her region, she is already hungry and only eats scraps that she finds on the ground. She spends day after day wondering where her next piece of food will come from to nibble on. As she hides from the blistering sun and her abusive surroundings, she lays under a truck suffering from thirst.
Mosquitos are biting her by the hundreds and she has thousands of fleas and ticks sucking the life out of her. She is thinking about her babies growing inside of her belly and how she will feed them and care for them in such terrible conditions.
As she is waiting for the sun to settle so she can show her face and scavenge for food, she smells something interesting, “oh look! Someone left food on this truck for me” she says. She crawls out from under the truck and stands on her hind legs to get a sniff of the warm plate of food… her owner steps out, the man she has been loyal to since her beginning and HE BEATS HER for leaning on his truck! She yelps in pain, cries and runs to hide wondering why her master is beating her, she only wanted a little food to feed her babies….
As her owner looks on, he notices she looks pregnant, he never noticed before because he rarely pets her or gives her attention. Not wanting to deal with puppies, he BEATS HER UNTIL SHE MISCARRIAGES!!
Now this young dog has had enough, it’s not her fault, she doesn’t deserve this treatment, nobody does.
I know this is a late message, but please please keep our brave team in your thoughts today as we face danger and go to extract this dog. Please share her so we can find her a loving home where she can be herself.
